  7. How can I hide the UI to take screenshots?

To take screenshots without the UI display, hit Alt+CTRL+Z and then the Print Screen key.

    Alt+Print Screen = screenshot w/UI

Users with a Windows 10 or Windows 8 machine have the added ability to take screenshots that automatically save to a special folder. Pressing both the Windows and Print Screen key at the same time will capture the entire screen. This image will automatically be saved to a Screenshot folder inside of the Pictures library.

  8. What platform will Crowfall use?

Crowfall is initially a game for Windows PCs.

As for other platforms, we expect that if a Macintosh has Windows compatibility and a 3D graphics card it will work. We are not planning a native client at this time. Other OS variants such as Linux are not being considered at this time.

Realistically, as a small company with a game for a relatively small audience, we won’t be able to afford to support multi-platform clients. Console is not completely out of the realm of possibility, but it is not a current priority and would require separate funding.

  9. Where is the playtest schedule?

We have two test environments, LIVE and TEST. The LIVE environment is available 24/7 to active testing groups. The calendar for the TEST environment is here. You can even sync it with your Google calendar to set up automatic reminders. If you prefer not to sync up with the calendar, you should check the testing forums occasionally since new tests may be added.

  10. Where can I find patch notes and known issues?

The Testing - News and Announcements forum is the place to go for patch notes, any known issues and other important playtest-related news.
